i honestly don't see how delphox looks "too" feminine??? their design looks gender neutral to me. they're wearing robes, they're wearing dresses. it goes either way. they're witches and wizards. they don't really need gender differences, imo. tbh it's actually really amazing how touchy pokemon players can get over certain pokemon's genders sometimes.
and anyway there's nothing wrong with being feminine anyway. everyone who's commenting here is implying that femininity is inherently lesser or weaker than masculinity. or just plain bad. that's far from true.
still, this is a very cool design. i like the staff you gave it.
Thanks, but I think you're going a bit extreme there.
Delphox isn't too feminine indeed, I'm simply exploring a more masculine-looking design here. I really don't see how you derive that "everyone" commenting here is implying femininity is inferior, because that's not the case at all. Femininity is awesome! There is nothing wrong with being feminine!
Most people are just saying they would prefer that their Delphox to look that way. They're not saying something like "Delphox look like a girl and I hate it" or "Delphox looks like a girl and girls are weak". I really don't see how a simple preference ultimately results into judging whether a gender is stronger or weaker. Most women prefer to wear heels, they sometimes do makeups and prefer the "feminine" look. Does that mean or imply they think femininity is superior because of that? No.
I love its staff! the fur cloak also looks great opened in the front, it looks more robe-like rather than having to be misinterpreted as a dress, however, i probably would have leave the official art's fur sleeves on this design, though, since pretty much all wizard robes have long baggy sleeves. It would be cool if the official had a staff like this instead of a stick. This is some of the best Delphox fanart I've seen so far.
