The skies above Tao village flashed as streaks of lightning wreaked their havoc across the night's black heavens. There was no moon, and not a star to been seen on a night as savage as this. The sky looked down on him, a black and empty void resounding with the vicious rumbles of thunder. The pelting rain was just as merciless. Aided by the wind, it poured with a vengeance; turning the humble town of Tao Village into a swamp. Around him, dirt paths turned to mud as the soil drowned under the torrent of heavy rain.
