Before I say anything, it's a true honor being able to critique your work! Aside from that and forgetting all of my bias, the picture is truely magnificent. The one thing I've always looked for in digital art is the artist's own individual way of drawing certain parts of the picture. Anyone can draw and then use digital art to make their drawing come to life, but you seem to have done it in a more unique way. I can almost relate to what your description for this picture said after looking at it for the first time. The way you drew Shaymin Sky Form flying through the sky around the lighthouse, it's the feeling that everyone looks for in life. Everyone wants to be able to soar and fly in their own way, and you were able to make Shaymin feel that way while drawing him. The thing that hit me most was the surroundings, though. I love the shadow effect on every part of the scenery, letting you know where the sun is hitting the scene and how the individual colors react to it. Another thing I love about your shading, is you don't seem to use shading tools in digital art programs, and rather use individual darker colors that compliment the dominating color enough to give it that perfect shadow effect. The best thing about this picture, though, is I don't get the feeling that all of it is digital. It feels like, especially for your shading and the way you draw the clouds and by the colors in the sky, that it's almost like you use pastels to paint the perfect scenery to compliment the rest of the drawing. All in all, a marvelous piece of work, and I can't wait to see more~~
