I can't decide between this and another one without the effects: [link] What do you guys think?

Also, this is yet another first try for a Pokemon I have never drawn before... Gosh, Supanova is pushing my limits somewhat! XD

Really good. Really really good.

First with the red background, which I think is original and clever. It looks very cool with Primal Dialga standing on his hind legs like that. The big tree in the middle is a nice touch. The colors are very attractable to the eye!

A suggestion, though, is to possibly add little lights in the energy he's absorbing/sending out if you were to keep the effect? I don't know, just a suggestion.

But anyway, looks fantastic! This is by far my favourite Primal Dialga deviation, why else would I write my first critique on this! You've piqued my interest, and I'll follow your future endeavours.

For the first time drawing these Pokemon, you sure do a good job at making it look like you've been drawing them for years. ._.

I like it with the added effects better. Some glowing effects around that gem probably wouldn't have hurt either, but that's just me.
