Touched up a lil bit as well since this picture has got a DD~ Mainly fixed the lil shadow on its "crown" and added some more feathers on Ho-oh's right wing.

I am simply awstruck at the amount of detail and hard work put into this. The colors are vibrant as they should be and have such a simple but well done shading style. Makes me a bit jealous. The position and background tell many stories and show so much emotion. You really honored Houou (ho-oh in america) and its character and design. Truly worth more praise then one can give. This image and its partner are excellently done and beautiful to look at. Please do continue to draw and create masterpieces for everyone on DeviantArt and other websites to enjoy.

The colours really catch my attention and how Ho-oh has detail that makes it look realistic is just plain awesome. Also the background does sute Ho-oh's colour scheme. The shading and lighting are really well done. Ho-oh's feathers also look lively. As well as me being a pokemon fan I give this deviation 5 stars all the way and this is my first critique so it is not easy writing one (or rating it). Overall I think this deviation really did deserve a daily deviation. In short to this critique: this piece looks like a whole tonne of effort had been put into it.

The colours in this are divine, very saturated and bright! And how you've drawn the sun's rays behind Ho-Oh is astonishing.
Congrats on the DD! Very well deserved, I can see the effort that has been poured into this piece.
