Uhm... Okay, so... Maybe this is misplaced but... SPOILER ALERT FOR TALES OF ELYSIUM... This might be misplaced... It probably is... *sigh* Never Mind...
I kinda can't get rid of the thought that he's that Slowpoke from ToE's prologue... Especially since you're mentioning he'd be over 500 years old and the very first text box in the prologue says "500 years ago..."
